Pansies in the garden…..

“If flowers could smile, they'd all be pansies.”

I have always loved pansies, violas, johnny jump ups and violets. Sweet little faces and just a hint of fragrance. The flowers are edible and taste like grapes and mint.

I am joining Mary today at Little Red House for this weekly event.

Those who follow me know how I like to manipulate photos and how I love to make collages and mosaics.

  3. How pretty!! I was thinking about pansies today. I planted some one fall when I lived in Washington DC, and they were so pretty through the snow, and on into spring. I also had pretty mums there that seemed to grow and grow. I have not tried pansies here yet, but I do have mums I'm hoping will bloom this fall. Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you are doing well!

  17. Beautiful mosaics. Most of my pansies die as soon as it gets too hot. I have a few in a shady area that survived.
