Outdoor Wednesday

image
Please join Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday.
I finally got some foliage pictures on a back road. The roads are busy because of the Fryeburg Fair and the “leaf peepers”. This not peak foliage but it is pretty.

Today it is pouring and I can see the leaves being blown off the trees. Happy Outdoor Wednesday! L1010575

  3. So pretty. It's hard not to love fall! I hate when it rains and knocks off the leaves before they get a chance to peak. Oh well, we can't change the weather. Have a great day! I can't believe there is only 79 days until Christmas. Thanks for the reminder.

  6. OK even a confirmed summer-lover like I has to admit that your foliage pictures are spectacular. What a grand and gaudy display Mother Nature gives us as her curtain call.

I love your new header! It's so pretty. Great composition.

Your mention of Fryeburg caught my eye -- a dear friend of mine used to winter in Fryeburg; her husband taught at the Academy... and she spent summers down south! Talk about a reversal of the Snow Bird syndrome.

    Thanks for some leaf peeping!

  10. What beautiful scenery! I have not had a chance to visit the Fryeburg Fair but have heard my parents talk about their trips there. One day I might get up there in time for it.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful fall pictures with us!

  11. The leaves don't change color where I live (Las Vegas) so it's so nice to get to see some wonderful photos of the leaves.

  12. It's not raining here but very windy. I was trying to take photos of my new fall front porch for an upcoming blog party and the wind kept dumping pine tags in my glass of tea. LOL.....your photos are so pretty. My friend just left for a weeks tour of the coast line in Maine, Vermont, etc. I am jealous. Some day I want to do the same. ~ Lynn
