Pink Peonies and Campanulas

I love the weather in Florida and we stay until the beginning of June.  But I miss my flowers up north and some of the flowers I miss the most (besides lilacs) are peonies. I was thrilled to walk into Fresh Market this week and see peonies. I had to have them so I did! They also had campanulas which make for a very pink arrangement. I took many pictures and I hope you enjoy them.

I am joining Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday and Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday. Please stop by and visit them after our visit.

I played with Virtual Painter. Thank you Jackie in Surry. I have had more fun with this program. Would that I could paint but I can’t and this program takes your photos and turns them into different styles of paintings. I am taking some of my favorites and having them made into note cards.

Love the photographs and the Virtual painter pics are marvellous.I love the flowers on the beautiful crochet cloth. The mosaics are great!! We have peonies in flower here in the UK but I don't have any in the garden. The Rhododendrons and Azaleas are beautiful here this year.

  33. Hi Carol,
The peonies have come (and, sadly, gone) here in West Tennessee. They were spectacular this year. It's been a wonderful spring for gardening. I love seeing yours, and your photographs captured the lush qualities of the blossoms perfectly!

What a treasure your grandmother's crocheted tablecloth is! Her mug is so pretty, and it coodinates so nicely with the peonies!

Hope the rest of your week goes well.

    Kindest regards,
    Bill
