It was just the two of us the night before we left. We were packed – bags by the door.

Welcome back, Carol! I'm glad you have safely made it to Florida, and congratulations on your 200th post!

Looks like a romantic dinner for two. Love those lilies you used as the centerpiece. They pick up the colors in the plates so perfectly, and I think it's so romantic to serve dessert in the martini glasses. Nice touch!

Happy Tablescape Thursday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Your setting is so lovely Carol. We come down and stay by the Villages near Ocala, Fl for the winter. Our weather is not that bad in Western NC but Don gets Bronchitis every year if we stay and it takes him months to shake it. Have a safe trip down.

Good Morning Carol Sweetie...
Glad to hear you are safely in Florida and had a wonderful quiet dinner for 2 before leaving. What a beautiful table setting. I love it. It looks so romantic, from the plates, to the cups filled and the flowers, all lit by candle light. Awesome job sweet friend.

Well I can't wait to see what the embroidery machine will be bringing our way. You can bet I will be popping by daily to leave a message for the draw. I am a happy follower. I love your writes.

Many hugs sweet friend and so much love, Sherry

This is such a romantic table for two. I love the way the centerpiece picks up the color in the plates. It's perfect. I have trouble with centerpieces so I admire people who can do pretty ones.

Love the plates, too. It's all so pretty.

Your MARTINI glasses are marvelous -- and can just imagine them filled with a great fruit compote, or chocolate mousse. AH! Hope your RE-settlement goes well and that you will flourish in Florida's winter warmth. Rebecca
