I am joining Susan at a Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday. This Wednesday I am going to try to catch up some more on my visiting and do some housekeeping on my blog. What are you going to do?
I had this concrete head in in my first home in Florida. I could not find a place for it in my present home. She needs to be sunk into the ground and have her head planted so we decided that she could work in Jack’s shade garden. By the end of the summer she should be just beautiful. A wagon wheel leans up against a tree.
We can sit on his deck and wait for hummingbirds. And if the weather cooperates there are a few pictures I would like to take.
Then we will go back to the cabin and look at the lake. There might be a sailboat race.
Have a great day!

It all looks lovely! I am joining Outdoor Wednesday for the first time today ~ I kept seeing your posts and thought maybe I should join in. You inspired me. :) I have to tell you I just LOVE your new blog header. It is really beautiful!!!
I would never leave home if I had a yard like yours! I live in the high dessert of New Mexico. It is all about decorating with rock here.
Lovely! I'd like to while away a few hours in your garden.
Best,
Bonnie
Beautiful photographs, Carol! You have such a beautiful lake view from your lovely green chairs on your deck!
That concrete head is great. I always love a little unexpected thing in the garden - anyone can just do a birdbath. It looks like you've found the perfect place for it.
Beautiful flowers! And I love the outter colour scheme of your home. Looks like a beautiful place to relax.
Hi Carol,
Gorgeous new header image, wow!
I love the photo of your deck, if it was ours I wouldn't budge all day.
A perfect place to sip iced tea & read a good book.
Maggie
Can I come and hang out in your yard? All I have is gravel, cactus and dirt.... It looks like a dream!
Carol, I love the photos you chose to share with us today. The photo of the lake looks tranquil and remarkably restful. What a gorgeous view. I hope you are having a great day. Blessings...Mary
