Pink and Silver….

I am joining Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for another Pink Saturday. My Holiday Giveaway is still open until Thanksgiving Day. More details can be found in my sidebar and my header!

Now, off to my pink and silver. I am always impressed with tablescapes that feature vintage items. So, imagine how excited I was to find a service of silverplate flatware in a silver chest lined with pink! The 1957 pattern is Exquisite by Rogers and there is a service for 12+!!! And it was polished or rarely used. And there are serving pieces…And I didn’t pay a lot for it….

The chest was a little scruffy but Olde English scratch remover cleaned it right up!

Wow! Carol, you got yourself a wonderful set of silverware! It's a lovely pattern too. Pink chest and all; good for you! My Mom gifted me with hers a couple of months ago and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to have it! Thanks for sharing and Happy Pink Saturday to you.

Blessings,
Sandi

I like your silver and with the pink- well, what's not to like?

Sorry for the late visit- I think of busy Saturdays as a "Pink Weekend" since it takes me that long to visit everyone!

Happy belated PS!

Very nice. I was surprised when I married John to discover that he had a silver set in an old chest in the attic of his barn. The things men have! :D
