Playing with programs….

It is another Monday and time for more mosaics. I am joining Mary at Little Red House for this weekly event. My friend Jackie in Surry helped me this week with layering and texturing. Please stop  by and see her wonderful mosaics and photographs. I was just trying too hard and her help clarified the whole process. Now I am experimenting. I quite like the look of writing in the background and was not quite sure where to start. I realized that the wall paper in my guest bath was writing – so, I took a picture of it. I had some fun.

Hi Carol, the mosaics and pictures are wonderful. What a great idea to use the bathroom paper script. I took a few photographs the other day of an open bible page. I am also trying to bet some old music sheets and I will scan them and see how that looks as a texture. I am not sure that everyone will like my mosaic this week, probably not to everyone's taste, but it is a place we visited and I am showing it as we saw it!! Although I did add texture to two of the pictures.....

Have a good week, Jackie in Surrey.

Hi Carol,
Thanks for your kind comments ,I love the effect of the writing behind the Mosaic ,I think I have worked out how you would do this so I may steal your idea and try it myself if you do not mind.
I love that you are able to live in both Maine (the home of my favourite writer ) and Florida ,these are 2 of the places on my must see list.
Thankyou for becoming a follower and I happily am going to also follow you ,looking forward to more of your blog!

This is such an amazing technique! I'm going to visit her blog but I don't think I have the program to layer photos! Yours are gorgeous! They would be lovely printed and framed! ♥

Well done! I love your wallpaper used as a background. So much more personal than using something off the web.

Carol: Beautiful! Just what I needed to view (and someday do) on this blustery cold day. I also want to visit St. Pete and the market in your previous post--right now!!

Best,
Bonnie
