Every month or so we take a trip to St. Pete to go to the Italian Market, a few antique shops and our favorite restaurant. That is what we did last Saturday. First stop was Mazzaro’s. You can see more pictures here.
Our favorite olive oil….
Passed on the desserts….They looked sinfully delicious…
The prepared food case was tempting – especially this asparagus.
I could spend hours in the wine and cheese part of the market.
So we bought some 5 cheese raviolis, some bread and olive oil and packed everything in the cool bag and went to some antique shops. I’ll show you what I bought in another post.
Then we went out to lunch. We go to Savannah’s when we are in St. Pete. It is probably one of my favorite places to have lunch. There are others but I like the ambiance there and the service is excellent. We were early so I could take pictures and not annoy the other customers. We always start with their Mint Julep Ice Tea.

Below are Burritos filled with pulled pork, I believe, and again the Sweet Potato Fries.
Next time I will have Fried Green Tomatoes Eggs Benedict.
Have a wonderful weekend!
