Summer Garden

One of the delights about being in Maine for the summer are the flowers. I don't have a lot of them at the cabin but I do have containers that I place around a tree next to the cabin. I can see them from the porch.

By the end of the summer, this little area should be quite full of flowers. I will get some more this week. I like zinnias and snapdragons for cutting and the rest I like for looking.

I am joining Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday. Be sure to stop in and see all the beautiful pink posts.

Happy Pink Saturday!

Pretty flowers and they must thrive in the cooler temperatures. It's so hot here we are watering our flowers twice daily. Have a wonderful weekend!

Cozying up the cottage making it a summer home to enjoy. That's fun I know. Pace yourself... I'm sure that there's much to do.

BEautiful pink flowers. WE are just getting warm enough for a few flowers to come out. Peonies haven't opened yet and I can hardly wait.

Lovely! I hope to eventually get to Maine on a visit to our son and his wife who live in Mass. Our daughter-in-law went to college at Bates. How lovely to have a cabin in the woods for the summer!

Best,
Bonnie
