Pink Saturday

I will repost a Pink Saturday from the past this week. I have fallen so far behind this month. This is most likely because I am trying to do too much. Combine that with the lack of consistent internet at the cabin and you will understand.

I think my favorite color is sort of a peachy, salmony pink - or at least it was today when I saw the whiskey barrels planted with these lantanas in North Conway. We ran errands today and while Jack went to get the car, I raced to snap pictures of the flowers.

They are just the softest color. I love the yellow with them.

We came back and put away groceries and I took my little stroll around my little garden - very little stroll as garden is very little...
This pansy was peeking around a  geranium.

The geraniums are the same lovely color.

I am joining Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for another Pink Saturday. Please stop by and see all the other participants.

Happy Pink Saturday!

I used to do my blog postings the night before. Then I began doing them the morning of... These days, it's more like the afternoon of. Somedays I feel like I'm just slip sliding away. LOL And I can't blame it on my internet!

That is a lovely shade of coral or pink. Pink and yellow do make a nice combination. I have already tucked my flowers into the garage in anticipation of a frost tonight. I have to get some old sheets and blankets rounded up to cover the rest. I'm just not ready to let them go this early.

Carol, I'm just now checking in to my blog, and I wanted to drop by and thank you for your very kind words and sweet thoughts in my last post. I apreciated them so much. You are a sweetie.

As always, I am awed by your photography. You have such a great eye for color and design, a true artist's eye, and these photographs prove that in spades. Just gorgeous.

I'm heading down to check on Adelaide's girls tomorrow, and I'm hoping to find them doing a little better. It's been a rough go, but we are taking one day at a time and finding things for which to be grateful in each.

Sending warm wishes to you across the miles...

XO,

Sheila

That peachy pink color is a favorite of mine as well. I wear that color often and use it in my interior decorating. I so enjoyed your Pink Saturday post.
