Finding Pinks Around the House.....

When I think about the colors I have in my home, I don't necessarily think Pink! But a closer look reveals a lot of pink here and there.
From pottery to fabric...

Treasures from my mother, grandmother and mother-in-law have touches of pinks. These wonderful ladies who were so much a part of my life have been gone for a while but when my fingers touch something they made or gave me, wonderful memories surround me.

So as you can see, a little pink here and a little pink there....

Happy Pink Saturday!

I am joining Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for another Pink Saturday. I shall start looking for more pink for next Saturday.

Hi Carol, you certainly have lots of collectables and antiques and especially in pink. I am not a pink person and as we live in a small bungalow I do not keep many treasures!!I do love to see yours and your fine craft work that you do.

I love the pinks, but don't think I'd find many around here. I saw a photo in a magazine that I clipped years ago of a whole room done in sage green and pink and was smitten. Handsome, not so much. He prefers more neutral colors around our home. lol
Hope to see you soon. Tag comes home on Saturday!!!

A lovely post, Carol. I have special treasures from my mother and grandmother and many of them contain wonderful shades of pink. The color reminds me of springtime.

You found some great pink! I would be the same - don't feature pink but could probably find more than I think, especially in teacups.

Carol, the china and little cups are adorable. Little touches of pink are very soothing I think. Your relative got it right. hugs♥O

Pretty touches of pink, Carol. I don't think I have much pink either, but when I look around I find it!
I have enjoyed catching up on your last posts.
I am sending your post on knitting to my dear friend who lives in The Meadows in Sarasota. She is a knitter, and sews beautifully too. She started a Knit Wit group here when she comes back for the summer.
Is Rett coming down this year? I hope she has "mended " after her fall!

I think you and I share the same kind of thinking about the past and family history. I also love pink but do not have much in my house. I can find it in dishes and tablescapes though!

The china is beautiful! I'm not a pinks girl, but I love the accent here and there....

Carol - I feel like you do when I use the teacups, china and other things that belonged to my mother or grandmothers. I have my great grandmother's darning egg (which I've used once or twice), and my great, great grandmother's sea chest that she brought from Ireland. I love the treasures that have been passed down to me. Have a lovely week!

Your pinks are delightful Carol! Such beautiful photos too. I love my Keurig too. Hubby has been picking up different flavors for me to try. The coffee is always the correct temperature too for drinking.
