Mosaic Monday

Another Monday at Mary’s Little Red House. She graciously hosts this event on Mondays for those of us who like to play with pictures. Stop by and see what everyone has done this week.
This mosaic is composed of pictures from the lake.. I am fighting the end of summer. I love the colors of autumn and I don’t even mind a crisp day – the kind with the bright blue sky and the beautiful leaves. It is after all that is gone and what comes next that I need to go south.
I lived in Maine year round for more than 30 years and in New Jersey for years before that. I never minded the winters. I had the woodstove going, soup on the stove and mittens on the needles.
Then I got a taste of Florida in the winter…..
So autumn I love but summer is my favorite.

page
Have a wonderful week.

Carol, beautiful color around "Long Lake". Looks like some of the color that went up in the our home today. However you'd never know that it's fall in Florida, was 96 degrees in Bradenton today. One request Carol, please bring some cooler weather with you the first November!!!

Cheers!!!

What a lovely mosaic, of beautiful Fall photographs. Maine is one of my favorite places to visit, and I lived in New Jersey, I visited Florida, but it must be a lovely place to live year round.

BEAUTIFUL colors in a lovely mosaic. Hope to see similar in the North Carolins mountains next weekend.............and meet a dear blog friend in Asheville!!

Your banner pic is stunning too.

That Joanne Harris book is really a page turner.......but is set in England at an old established all boys' school, which American readers may find somewhat foreign compared to the education system over here! The twists in the plot are amazing - she certainly knows how to weave a story and 'mess with one's mind' so to speak!! Not saying more.

Thanks for always stopping by Carol - love hearing from you.

Hi Carol:
Lovely mosaic today! We certainly aren't experiencing anything as colorful as a northern fall here! (Still hot!)

Here's where I got the French General pincushion:

I love their entire line. SWI isn't carrying Moda anymore, so I'm not "cheating" on them. ;-)

See you soon!

Happy Mosaic Monday a little late Carol. I understand how you feel. I love autumn but winter is so long and dark and dreary. Enjoy Florida!

Carol, I can see that autumn in Maine is just as beautiful as I imagined it to be, but I also imagine that the winters are somewhat bleak and LONG! Thanks for sharing your beautiful images at Mosaic Monday. :)
