Pink Saturday….

Well, it is Pink Saturday again at Beverly’s How Sweet the Sound. I had nothing pink! I usually do pink flowers but they are not in very good condition around here. The fall colors are overwhelming but not pink.

Last week I stopped in to see bj at Sweet Nothings. She has fairy dust/snow all over her blog and I loved it. She told me how to get it and I will put it on for the holidays! Stop by and see her new dishes!
imageSo, we were in North Conway and stopped at one of favorite stores, The Glass Cottage. Lucy and Kelly and Jill are very knowledgeable about the glassware and willing to share information.

There was lots of Fenton pink glass so I snapped away. Since 1905, The Fenton Glass Company has been the largest manufacturer of colored glass in America. Jack and I both love this glass. I collect the older pieces and Jack likes the Carnival glass.

The shades of pink range from very pale to deep rose.

Happy Pink Saturday. Be sure to visit as many “pinks” as you can.

Oh, how pretty! I have a few pieces of the deeper rose -- they belonged to my mom. Love that little pitcher -- beautiful!

Such pretty pink glass - don't tempt me, must not start collecting anything else, sigh! Thanks for sharing though and have a great pink Saturday.

Carol - the vintage effects on the photos are done with that Photoscape program I told you about, and I see you have been using it for mosaics etc. The Filters and Vignettes, combined with the Margins and Frames, are easy to layer to come up with this finished look. Starting playing - you'll have fun and it's such a quick and easy little editing program.

I just have to say that I much prefer fall colors to pink. I would love to see some of yours. I collect many things, but for some reason, glass was not one of them. I love your collection, maybe I'll get started.....hummm. Thankyou for the lovely post, Happy Pink Saturday and have a great week ahead, Char

Winter is just around the corner in my neck of the woods and I won't see much pink in my garden again until at least April so THANK YOU for the wonderful blog entry and for giving me a little pinkie-lift today!

Hoping that your weekend is filled with laughter and sunshine☺

For someone who hasn't anything pink you did rather well, lol. Love that pink glass jug - and also your header & background. Very autumnal and so pretty.

Happy Pink Saturday!

All the pink glass today was from The Glass Cottage. I do have some in Florida but I have run out of pink in Maine!

Thanks for all your comments.

It's all gorgeous - I especially like milk glass as it reminds me of strawberry blancmange!

Happy Pink Saturday (sorry to be late, the computer is playing up yet again - keeps overheating so I have to keep turning it off. I'm getting nowhere fast!)
