Mosaics from the market......

Our market in Conway is open and full of fresh garden foods. Their tomatoes are in. They are grown in greenhouses but not the hothouse type that one would scorn. They are grown in the rich soil of the Saco River. The sides of these "sheds" are left open during warmer days and closed when needed. I have at least one a day! You can read more about the Saco and the soil here.

I am joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday. Please stop by and see all the other wonderful mosaics.

A bite of one of these tomatoes takes me right back to the farm. We have basil in the window box and mozzarella in the fridge.

And then there is the asparagus. Radishes and cucumbers are fresh from the garden.

Oh my, what awesome mosaics! I have one basil plant, my first time to plant something other than flowers, I love it! Everything of yours looks like it's doing so well, you must have a green thumb!

What a neat mosaic, Carol! This makes me hungry for some good veggies! I need to learn how to do this so I can do some mosaics with all of you.

I was commenting to a friend who is a quilter about how the mosaicis she has been doing remind me of her quilts.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hi Carol

They all look very tempting but I am a naughty girl and not really a veg eater!!
I love the mosaic with the asparagus, radishes and cucumber. I must learn how to do the mosaic like you have with the basil and tomatoes, it looks great. Have a good week, leading up to your birthday!! Jackie in UK.

I love your last mosaic w/the radishes as the background picture. I live for summer and fresh veggies from the farm market. I am NOT a gardener. LOL

Your photos are all so fresh and colorful! I love the last mosaic with the radishes. I've never even planted a vegetable, or herb. Someday I'd like to give it a try. My in-laws have a nice garden with a good variety of vegetables. They really enjoy it!
