Where I Keep My Stuff……..

white where do you keep 2
I am joining Tablescaper for her blogaversary – one year of blogging. Congratulations! She has chosen the theme of where we keep all of our dishes and tablescaping props. This was a lot of fun for me and made me clean it up  a bit.

One of the selling points of the townhouse I bought was the walk-in closet off the room I use as a den/tv room. I had shelves put in and then bought shelf dividers at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

The closet has been “spiffed” up just a tad! And I am not showing you the floor or the chair I removed for the”shoot”. Perhaps another time…..

And then there is the bottom of the Welsh cupboard.

And then the new cabinet in the kitchen hall.

Oh, look!!! I see an empty space!!!! That won’t be there for long…..

Of course, my kitchen cabinets are full, too.  Don’t forget to visit the other participants and see their storage solutions.

Its so fun to see how others store their dishes/pretties! You have a lovely spot with the walk-in closet and such wonderful pieces to store there! I see you are "branching out" though and are using other areas as well...funny how that happens! Its true, The Tablescaper got us cleaning our closets!

I just love your walk in closet. Easy access and bright to where you can locate everything with a glance. What a great feature!

I think a dish closet is the best thing to have. Mine isn't as large as yours (drool) but I have managed to put a lot in there!! This has been fun!

Alma didn't get me to clean my closets! LOL. After a 4 day weekend with 4 little ones, I didn't have the energy!
Anyway, you are way too neat! But you have another house, so it is only half of your stash!!

Hi Carol:
Nothing like having storage spaces! I keep thinking I'm going to repurpose the pantry into a place for my dishes. The foodstuff could go into the cupboards. Handsome would never be able to find anything then! lol
Have a great week.

Thanks so much for joining the party! It's so much fun to see where we stash it all.

I must say, yours looks quite organized! And there's definately some room for growth. It's amazing how this stuff multiplies, isn't it!

Can't wait to see more of the tablescapes you come up with from all of your beautiful stuff. I saw some great yellow glass in there!

Hi Carol,
Very impressive! I must confess now that I really want to see what's on the floor. (kidding!). You have so many lovely things, and you're obviously a skilled organizer.

I wasn't brave (or energetic) enough to get my dish storage areas ready for inspection, but I'm certainly glad you participated in The Tablescaper's fun event. I'll have to pop over and wish her a happy blogaversary.

Warmest regards,
Bill

Hi Carol

You have some lovely stuff there!! I think I have said before that we have very little storage in our bungalow and I am a more practical ( or boring) person, I wouldn't buy items unless I knew I would have them in regular use for everyday BUT I love to see everyone else's, which is the great thing about Blogland!!

Nearly Maine day, I hope your hip operation goes well and what a great place to sit, relax and recuperate.

Have a wonderful birthday on June 26th, very best wishes, Jackie in Surrey, UK.

Carol, I'm sorry I do not have a source for the flower arranger I used in today's blog post. It is at least 10 years old, if not more. I will google the subject & try to find some online for you.

Carol, I thank you for that info on Ina's recipe for "coeur a la creme". I will google that also!

Thanks for visiting the Gazebo House & for your sweet comments.

fondly,
Rett
