Recuperating......

Thank you all for all your good wishes and comments this last week. I have a new hip and we are are bonding. Hip replacement precautions are very restrictive and I have not quite figured out how to comfortably work on the computer. But I will soon.

One of my goals for having this surgery was photography. I want to be able to park the car and walk around an area (like a beautiful garden) and take lots of photographs. I would like to go dancing and, of course, I want to go "antiquing". All of this will happen in good time.

So, my dear blogging friends, I am on the mend and thinking of posts and mosaics but need to get through the next couple of weeks before I can make a lot happen.

Hi Carol

Please to hear you are on the mend. I know what you mean about sitting at a PC, I have a problem at the moment and sometimes I just jump out of the chair in pain. I hope you don't do that it might not be good for the new hip!! ;-))

Been thinking and praying for you. Take care, enjoy all the pampering, best wishes, Jackie in UK.

Carol - I'm thinking of you as you recover from your hip replacement. My Mom had that done a few years back. Soon you will be moving around and snapping photos galore!

Glad your surgery is behind you --- and now the hard part, right? Trust you heal quickly and get back on your feet--at at your computer, and taking those photos, etc. Best wishes on your recovery.

Carol, I am SO glad that the surgery is over. Now, it's time to heal. Have you thought of suspending the computer from the ceiling so you can get comfy and just have it floating in front of you? No, huh? :-P

Follow the doc's instructions and read all the pamphlets you probably got about how to do this or that with a new hip -- and you will be up and about and nosing around in gardens before you know it.

Hugs ... Cass

Carol,
There'll be no stopping you now, I can't wait to see all the fabulous mosaics you'll be creating.
Did I tell you that I love your blog header photo? I want to reach out and stop those cups & saucers from toppling over.
It always makes me smile.

It will take a while but then you, like several friends who've had the surgery, will be walking and even dancing - everyone seems to heal quite quickly and feel so much better again.

Tale care dear - you are in my thoughts.
Mary.

Carol, I somehow missed the fact that you were having surgery. I'm now sending you very best wishes for a speedy recovery. Hope you'll soon be back to blogging, photographing the beauty of your world and a few twirls around the dance floor.

Best,
Bonnie

I'll be thinking about you and hoping the recovery goes really fast. I helped my husband through two of these.

Congratulation on the new hip. You have a positive attitude and that will help. You will be walking everywhere in no time! I have helped one friend through a hip replacement and one through two knee replacements and they are both as good as new!
