Roses, Clocks and Daffodils

I am finally mastering the camera and the Mac! It has been a struggle but many of you have really helped. Bottom line is that the Rebel takes much better pictures if the UV filter is removed for indoor shots and web albums are a girl's best friend for loading pictures into Blogger! And after yesterday's fiasco with disappearing pictures, I learned not to trash pictures I have moved to the desktop. One needs to copy them to the desktop....However, I like the Picasa album method better.

Clocks and Roses

The reverse painting at the bottom of clock is almost gone but looks like it was a lovely old home.

The name of the rose is Fiction perhaps because it is too beautiful to be true...

Have a wonderful day!

Beautiful post. Love the clock and daffodil mosaics. Please that everything has been sorted although I think you must of had a sleepless night worrying about it!!

Enjoy the rest of the day, Jackie.x

Aren't vintage clocks the best? I love them and have quite a few scattered around the house, most of them don't work but nevermind!
Glad to see that all is sorted computer/blogger/pix wise.
Have fun playing!

Very pretty roses, Carol & I love that old clock!!

Sorry to hear about your blogger issues. Today, I'm having spacing & font issues. I wish they'd get their act together & quit messing around! :(

I use Live Writer to insert all my photos directly from my computer. SOOOO much faster than loading them into any other online album first, like photobucket or flickr.
You might want to try it.
Also, did you know that ANY photo you put up on your blog is automatically stored on the Picassa album site? Yep...even ones you've deleted years ago are still there. I've been trying to get some of Caroline removed for ages & they're clueless as to how to help me. Grrrrr! Men obviously run these things.

Hugs,
Rett

I'm sewing today, too!

Scrump-diddle-umptious pictures! I agree with you about that rose, it is incredibly beautiful and in my favorite colors.

Come take my poll for me, Carol. I am hoping to get the skew working back my way. ;>

Beautiful clock and the roses are so perfect! Love how you've put them all together today. Happy your issues are getting solved, it must be very frustrating, but gratifying that you are figuring it all out on your own!
Have a happy day!

The reverse painted clock caught my eye as my Grandfather was a Watch Maker & they had a beautiful clock similar to this on their one mantle!!
Have a Wonderful Day!!
