Monday Magnolias

It is Mosaic Monday so please join Mary at Little Red House for this event.

We have lived in this home for over 5 years. When they landscaped I was thrilled to see Magnolia trees with their shiny beautiful leaves. The trees did not thrive. The buds would form and then fall. BUT this year they have been beautiful.

Your photos and your magnolias are beautful, Carol. You just reminded me. We have a big magnolia tree in the side yard and the only way I can see it is by going to our guest room in the back through the window and sure enough, it is blooming too. Thanks for sharing!...Christine

I love magnolias. I have bothe saucer and star magnolias. They are like a breath of fresh air in the spring after a long winter. Your mosaic is beautiful. I also love your header. So colorful and cheery. Enjoyed your cruise (on the right) too. The food looked wonderful. I fear I would be waddling off the ship at the end. LOL

Love those magnolia mosaics...the creamy white color. We once lived in a house with a large old magnolia growing out the window ...gorgeous!

Hello Carol. I appreciate your comment on my blog and will look forward to exploring your blog. Your floral mosaics are so lovely. we're still waiting for the leaves on the trees so there are no flowers yet. Hope Springs Eternal!

Oh wow Carol --- they are gorgeous! How wonderful that they are blooming so generously this year. Magnolias are stunning -- one of those plants whose blooms AND foliage are equally lovely.
Great mosaics .. love the black and white, it shows the texture so nicely.
