The summer is just moving along. It seems we go from weekend to weekend. We have plans now right up to the middle of September. The reservations have been made to go back to Florida. Can't believe where the time goes.
My youngest son was here with my grandchildren on Sunday. I gave them the quilts I had made and we had a lakeside photoshoot.
They swam in the lake and then had lunch. We
did a little shopping on Amazon (I have trained them well LOL).
I am organizing the drawing which will happen this weekend. Entry closed on Monday at noon. Teapot and paper are at hand. So stay tuned - you could be a winner.

Oh seeing your grands all wrapped up in their quilts just makes me feel happy. What satisfaction and joy it must give you. This photo needs framing!
The reservations back to Florida...makes time feel so fluid and fast-moving. Still, you have a lot of summer left and as one of my blogging friends says, "It's only Wednesday!"
The photo of the grandchildren and their quilts took me back to when I slept under a quilt every night as a child. It was a crazy quilt of dark colors and a soft (flannel ?) backing of a drab maroon. It was so comfortable and comforting!
Best,
Bonnie
My great grandmother made me a quilt years ago. It was awesome. When I was gone to work one day, my husband (now my ex-husband) threw it in the washing machine and agitated it to death. DOH!
I never forgave him for that.

What a sweet photo. Those quilts are so pretty and bright. I'm sure they will enjoy them for many years. And yes, I think you should frame the photo. Summer is fleeting but we will have so many more nice days to come. Enjoy!
Hi Carol,
Your quilts are gorgeous and I imagine that they look even better with a grandchild inside!
Great shot.

If they're careful with them they could pass them down to their own children someday. What a priceless gift.
What a beautiful shot of the kiddos and the quilts.
