Outdoor Wednesday

imagePlease join Susan at  A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday. I was outside but then went inside. Hope nobody minds!
On the way to Camden, we stopped in Wiscasset, ME known as the prettiest village in Maine. It certainly is right at the top of the list. We parked a little bit away from our destination so I could take pictures and  window shop. We had some time before the restaurant opened and we went into a wonderful wine and stuff store called TREATS.
The walk to the store was really pretty. The last of the summer in Maine.

Now, I know it’s Outdoor Wednesday but you know when I can see Emma Bridgewater Pottery through the window, we’re going in! The selection of pottery was wonderful – beautifully arranged I wanted one of each. Someday. We looked around and took some pictures.  I will go back. L1010043

A few more pictures then off to Sarah’s for Lobster Quesadilla!

On the way to Sarah’s Red’s Eats is across the street. Red’s has been featured on PBS and their lobster roll is the best I have ever had. However, a few years ago I was introduced to Sarah’s.

L1010057 L1010056 Soup is a specialty and the breads are wonderful. Jack and I order the Lobster Quesadilla.  The flavors are outstanding. Lobster, spinach, pico de gallo, mozzarella, some Mexican seasonings, guacamole, sour cream, and some type of a corn salsa!

Stay tuned for more!

I have always yearned to visit Maine. Especially in the fall to see the leaves. The food here looks scrumptious!

Oh Carol! (Hey, that would make a great song title don't you think?)
You know that I am with you every step of the way on this trip. I love Wiscasset but have not tried Sarah's yet. Are you in Camden yet?

What lovely images of Maine! What a wonderful walk to the shops. It is early morning, and the lobster is making my mouth water.

Have a lovely day!

Well this post is certainly mouthwatering - that lobster quesadilla looks amazing! Haven't been there but it's on the list for next time!

Also Emma Bridgewter china - another reason to shop as it's so hard to find around here.

Everything looks fabulous - enjoy!
