Farewell Summer Tabletop

IMG_0264

I am joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch For Tablescape Thursday. This is a weekly party where adults play with their dishes and make pretty tables.

This summer’s weather has been outstanding. Sun, blue skies and delightful temperatures. This summer I also found Fiestaware which is just perfect for the cabin. The nights are getting cooler which means we will soon have to leave the little cabin as it is not winterized.

We picked the last of the flowers and Jack made his chili and we had friends in for dinner. The chili was perfect for the weather and the Fiesta and the flowers celebrated a beautiful summer here in Maine.

As you look at the table, remember the “no Ironing” rule in the cabin! My other post on the Fiesta is here.

I mixed up the colors this time.

Last summer I bought this painting at one of my favorite stores. The colors are very Fiesta friendly.

Did you notice the table and chairs? The leaves pull out and tuck back up and in and under. There is a drawer for silver ware.

I love the colors of Fiestaware all mixed up! Just adds to the beauty. Hate to see you leaving the cabin. Sound so cozy there. Oh, but for everything there is a season...

Wow- the colors in your Fiestaware are just so pretty! They definitely say Fall to me. What a creative way to set the silver. Is your table formica? I know my parents had a table whose leaves folded into the table. That sucker was heavy, too! Not like they are made today. Thanks for stopping by for a visit. I rarely participate in Susan's party- but it was fun to set the table for my latest centerpiece. :-)
Hope you'll stop by again, I know I'll be back here.

I love all these bright colors -- and you can't beat zinnias, in my book. LOVE them. I am totally behind your "no ironing" rule!

I think those flowers look absolutely perfect with your fiesta ware!! It's like the plates, tablecloth, and flowers were all just made to go together. The whole table is so welcoming and "cabiny" that I would love to sit at it.

Really, just perfect!

I'm late getting to tablescapes since I was out of the house all day. So glad not to have missed this one.

Carol, I am so happy to see this bright and colourful table. It is Spring over here and all I keep seeing in blogland is Fall decorations; I was beginning to feel very left out of all the Fall fun! You have put a great big happy smile on my face-thank you!

Best wishes,
Natasha.
