Mosaics for the season

I am joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday. I love working with my pictures and making collages or mosaics. There are several programs out there that I like to use. I just experiment and watch the creative part of the whole process.

We have a favorite restaurant in Bridgton called the Blackhorse Tavern. The hydrangeas were arranged this way. I could not resist!

I played around with fresh vegetable from the farm stand and Picnik focusing. I like the fact that Picasa and Picnik work together.

Carol, your collages this morning are beautiful! I love hydrangeas as they remind me of my mothers she had in her garden many years ago. Looks like you are having great fun with your new Rebel.

Enjoy your day!

Your mosaics are wonderful. The hydrangeas are beautiful and I really love the falls colors in the first mosaic. I like using Picasa but have not tried Picnik yet.

Very, very pretty mosaics, Carol. I must go find Picnik & give it a try.
I haven't had much time to play on the computer lately. Swamped with end of season chores & babysitting responsibilities. Hope that things have settled down now for awhile.

fondly,
Rett

Hi Carol, What lovely mosaics! I haven't done any in awhile, you have sparked my desire to get busy:-)) Love those tones of Autumn and who could resist the pony in the hydrangeas... delightful!
Thanks for stopping by!

Carol, I am really impressed with your mosaics! I only started playing around with them recently. Laurie, from Chatting and Bargain Hunting w/Laurie gave me some pointers. I use a combination of Photoscape and Picnik. There are no tutorial or instructions with some of these programs, so it is trial and error to learn anything. And so time consuming! LOL
Your photos are lovely. I need to purchase a new camera and take some classes. I still have so much to learn.
